About Avalon Dental Care

Avalon Dental Care is an independent dental practice in the heart of Kalamunda, in Central Court Shopping Centre. We are not a chain and we are not a clinic you visit once. For decades we have been the local dentist for families across the Perth hills, and we plan to be here for the next generation too.

Three decades in the hills

You will find us where you always have

Avalon Dental Care Kalamunda is nestled within the core of the hills community. For over 30 years we have looked after families from Kalamunda, West Perth, Guildford, Midland, Roleystone, Wattle Grove, Lesmurdie, Gooseberry Hill, High Wycombe, Maida Vale, Bickley, Forrestfield and the surrounding areas. confirm founding year

Being local matters in dentistry. It means we see children grow up, we know the families we treat, and we are easy to get to when something goes wrong. You will find us where you always have, in Central Court Shopping Centre.

How we work

We are committed to friendly, professional care for all of your oral health needs. We aim to provide Kalamunda and the surrounding areas with high-quality, affordable treatment in a quiet, comfortable setting, for patients of all ages.

  • Prevention first. We would rather catch a small problem at a check-up than treat a big one later. Regular visits save you time, money and discomfort in the long run.
  • Minimal intervention. We keep as much of your natural tooth as we can, using modern techniques that reduce the need for bigger, costlier work down the track.
  • Honest treatment plans. We explain what your teeth need, what your options are, and what it is likely to cost, before we start.
  • Care for nervous patients. A lot of people feel anxious about the dentist. You are not alone, and we have ways to make treatment comfortable.

Technology that means fewer visits

We have invested in equipment that genuinely changes the patient experience, not for its own sake:

  • An in-house chair-side milling unit that lets us make and fit many ceramic restorations in fewer appointments, sometimes the same day.
  • A 3D imaging camera that removes the need for messy impressions in many cases.
  • A digital dental x-ray system that uses very small radiation doses, which we only ever take when there is a real reason to.
Our team

The people you will see at Avalon

A small, steady team you get to know over the years, not a rotating roster of strangers.

Dr George Georgievski, resident dentist at Avalon Dental Care, Kalamunda

Dr George Georgievski

Resident dentist · BDSc, University of Western Australia (2004)

Dr Georgievski is our full-time resident dentist. He graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2004 and has since worked full time in private practice in both rural and urban areas across Western Australia, New South Wales and Queensland. He has extensive experience across all aspects of general dentistry.

His particular areas of focus are noninvasive dentistry, digital ceramic restorative options, implant dentistry, reconstruction and rehabilitative care. He attends continuing education courses regularly, locally, interstate and internationally, and works hard to bring advances in dentistry to his patients here in Kalamunda.

Outside the practice, Dr Georgievski is an amateur astronomer who enjoys camping, strength and fitness training, and living a healthy lifestyle.

The wider team

A 30-year practice runs on more than one person. Behind Dr Georgievski is a team of dental assistants, a hygienist or oral health therapist, and friendly front-desk staff confirm roles & names who keep your visits running smoothly and your records in order. The live page will carry each real team member's name, role, a short bio and a real photo, all supplied and approved by the practice. We do not publish placeholder people.

We also work closely with trusted local specialists, including a nearby periodontist, orthodontist and endodontist, and an experienced local denture laboratory technician, so that more complex care stays coordinated and close to home.

We recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and community, and honour their enduring cultural and spiritual relationship with Country.
