Dental emergencies in Kalamunda
In pain, broke a tooth, or had a knock to the mouth? Call us on (08) 6293 1733 and we will do our best to see you quickly. We treat dental emergencies as part of our everyday work in Kalamunda.
When to call us straight away
- A toothache that will not settle
- A broken, chipped or knocked-out tooth
- A lost filling or crown
- Swelling around a tooth or in the gum
- Pain or trouble from a wisdom tooth
- An injury to the mouth after a sport or accident
If you are unsure whether it counts as an emergency, call us anyway. We would rather you ask.
What we can do
We carry out extractions on a regular basis, usually with minimal time, expense and discomfort. For anxious patients we can use "happy gas" or, in some cases, prescription medication to ease anxiety during treatment. For more complicated cases we work closely with a specialist for prompt treatment under sedation or general anaesthetic.
If the problem is an infected tooth, root canal treatment can often save it rather than losing it.
